More collaboration power in Solution Design
User-based sharing of Projects
Project Owners can now add specific users as Project Contributors, giving them permission to create, link, and remove deliverables, as well as edit Architecture views associated with the project. Invitees receive an automated email notification to join the workspace. This helps the right contributors across the organization work together on architecture, reducing delays, avoiding rework, and eliminating bottlenecks that are common in disconnected Solution Design processes.
Deliverables with external links
A new deliverable type now supports attaching URLs directly to a deliverable. This streamlines documentation and ensures that context lives where work happens. Teams can link to external specifications, documents, and systems without fragmenting information across tools. Less searching, more clarity.
OData for Projects
Project and ProjectDetails OData endpoints now make project information available for reporting and dashboarding. Customers now gain the ability to build insight-rich dashboards in tools like Power BI or Tableau, increasing transparency, measurement, and governance across your transformation portfolio.
Process knowledge unlocked: Bringing clarity to every user
Process Portal access for non-BlueDolphin users via SSO
Organizations can now grant access to published processes for users who do not have a BlueDolphin account, authenticated through the organization’s SSO. This democratizes access to process knowledge. Anyone can view governed process content without requiring a product license, improving adoption, alignment, and compliance across the organization.
Quality-of-life improvements
Several smaller but impactful updates improve modeling speed and clarity:
- Enhanced color picker.
- Improved perspectives.
- Better search logic for finding process content.
- Cloning of existing diagrams, allowing users to duplicate and edit views instantly.
