ValueBlue Announces Change in Leadership Team: Jelle Visser Assumes Role of CEO
[Utrecht, June 1 2023] – ValueBlue, leading software company known for its innovative Enterprise Architecture solution BlueDolphin, is proud to announce a significant change in its leadership team. Effective June 1, the current Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), Jelle Visser, will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Visser brings with him to the role a wealth of experience and proven track record of expanding ValueBlue’s commercial success. As the former CCO, Visser has played a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and expanding its customer base since joining the company in 2014.
The decision to appoint Visser as the new CEO aligns perfectly with ValueBlue's ambitious long-term vision and strategic goals. With a deep understanding of the Enterprise Architecture market, and a clear vision of how ValueBlue’s software will enable more effective business transformation for its global customer base, Visser is well-positioned to lead the company into its next phase of growth and innovation.
Outgoing CEO Wilko Visser has successfully led the company through its transition to a product organization, its growth to 220+ customers, the realization of 5 regional offices across EMEA, the Americas and APAC, and the successful completion of two investment rounds since its inception in 2011.
Of the transition, he said: “Jelle Visser has been a driving force behind our successful growth in the past years and his work has been key to securing ValueBlue’s seat at the table as a leading vendor of Enterprise Architecture software. I am confident that Jelle’s unique blend of commercial leadership, along with his vision for the future of BlueDolphin, are the right ingredients to lead the company through its next exciting stage of growth.”
Wilko Visser will, ad interim, transition into the role of Chief Commercial Officer within ValueBlue, before concluding his executive involvement early next year in order to focus on personal endeavors. The company will add a new face to its leadership team to take over the commercial role.
With this exciting change in leadership, ValueBlue is poised to embrace fresh opportunities, accelerate its innovation, and set new industry standards. The entire team is excited about the future and looks forward to working closely with Visser in his new capacity as CEO.
